NARA-wave - Student Films Today
NARA-wave, one of the projects for NIFF, features student-made films that chart the future of filmmaking. This is not a competition, but we are pleased to have them at NIFF because supporting young talents is one of our important missions.
We present 9 various works--short films, long films, documentary, fiction--from all over Japan. You will see their ambitions and originalities. All directors' stage speeches and discussions with the audience are to be scheduled.
Not only does NARA-wave project present student-made movies, it is also operated all by students. This is the project for students and by students. Feel their energy.
