Guests from around the world, including the film directors and supporters of the Film Festival, will walk the red carpet en masse.  This year, in collaboration with Art Night, let's make a red carpet for the visual arts.

The Opening Ceremony starts at 7:45 pm

This year, the Asuka Taiko Ensemble enlivens the Opening Ceremony with a powerful Japanese drum performance.  The Asuka Taiko Ensemble performs at over 100 arts festivals across the world each year.  At the "Edinburgh Fringe" Festival in England, the ensemble garnered five star ratings from every reviewer: "Here is a performance that crosses generational lines, a music that speaks to the world in a universal language."  Together with the Red Carpet event, this must-see performance will light up the night!
